Goldendale Ave Boat Ramp
N 29 2' 27.19", W 82 30' 8.06 (50 minutes)
- SR 40 west to US 41
- Turn left (south) on US 41 for 5 miles
- Go over the river and then right onto CR 488 (W. Dunnellon Rd.), 2.3 m
- Turn right (north) onto N. Goldendale Ave, go 0.3 m
- Road ends at boat ramp.
No facilities.
Dunnellon Public Boat Ramp
- SR 40 west to US 41.
- Turn left (south) on US 41 and go about 3 miles through Dunnellon.
- The boat ramp will be before the Withlacoochee bridge on your right (north west corner).
This ramp is access to the Rainbow River as well.
Concrete ramp with bathrooms. Parking is limited - may have to go to overflow parking just NW of parking lot.
SR 200, Spruce Boat Ramp (near Stumpknocker's)
- Take Hwy 200 southwest until you cross the Withlacoochee River, passing Stumpknockers Resturant (about 18 &1/2 miles).
- Turn right on E Spruce Drive (the first road after you cross the river) and go about 1/4 mile to the boat ramp on your right.
Concrete ramp - no facilities.

CR 581 (E Turner Camp Rd) Boat Ramp

- Turn left (west) on SR200 and continue (24.2m) to US41/SR45 in Hernando.
- Turn left (South) on US41/SR45 (3.6m) to E. Jasmine Lane (Sewing shop).
- Turn left (east) onto E. Jasmine Lane follow to end (0.6 m).
- Turn right (south) onto N. Twin Lakes Dr this will dead end (0.2m) into E. Turner Camp Rd (CR581).
- Turn left (East) onto CR 581 and follow to end (5.6m), boat ramp is there.
(No restrooms!! Stop at gas station prior to arrival.)
Downstream takeout is SR 200
Outlet River
- Ocala, take I-75 South about 22 miles Exit 329 to SR 44.
- Turn west (right) onto SR 44 and go 5.3 miles to CR 470. (If you cross the bridge over the Withlacoochee, you went too far).
- Turn south (left) on to CR 470 and go 4.8 miles to CR 413 (entrance to the county park and boat ramp on right
From this ramp if you go downstream (west) you will enter the Withalcoochee River.
If you paddle upstream (east) you will go into Lake Panasoffkee
If Going downstream to SR 44 - to get to that take-out. Go South on CR 470 to SR 44, turn left (west) and go 2.5 miles, turn left (south ) at divide in medium.
IF doing downstream, you will have to PORTAGE around the dam. Wheels would be advisable, as the distance is approximately 150 feet depending on water levels. This dam is 3.2 miles downstream from Outlet launch site.
SR 44 Boat Ramp

- West on SR 40 to I-75 ( 2.7 m)
- South on I-75 (22.5m) to exit 329 - SR 44
- West on SR 44 (7.8 m)
- Cross medium at intersection, Boat Ramp is south side of highway
- (If you crossed the bridge then make a u-turn and come back)
Floral City
- I-75 south (37.6m) to Exit 314, SR 48.
- Turn left (west) onto SR 48 and go about 8.0 miles.
- Wynnhaven is on left (south) just before the bridge (east side).
Private ramp with fee. (07/10 Cars/Trucks $3 each, Trailered vehicle/combo $5 - Green mailbox near ramp - honor system)
Downstream takeout is Outlet River
- From Ocala, drive south on I-75 to Bushnell exit (314) 37.6m.
- Turn right (west) at end of off ramp on SR 48 and go .6 mi.
- Turn left onto CR 616. Go to end, turn right on CR 476.
- Travel on CR 476 for 6.8 miles.
- Boat ramp is on right, 1/3 mile after crossing Withlacoochee Rv. bridge.
(Downstream takeout is Floral City)
From Nobleton launch site, turn left on CR 476. Go 1.2 mi to CR 575 turn left. Go to end, turn left onto CR 48, and look for Wynnhaven boat ramp on left.
Silver Lake Rec. Area
- Drive south on I-75, to SR 50.
- Turn left (east ) on SR 50, and drive about 0.9 miles to traffic light for Croom-Ridel Rd.
- Turn left (north) on Croom-Ridel and drive for about 2 miles, this road winds as it crosses a bike trail so be careful,
- The entrance to boat ramp and camping area is on the right (east) immediately before going under I-75 overpass. Follow road to boat ramp.
Fee area.

(Directions To Nobleton Launch from here: easy drive, turn right and go under the I-75 overpass, follow road for about 5 3/4 miles (part of which will be lime rock). Cross CR 476 and you are at boat ramp (N 28 38' 49", W 82 15' 44"). This road follows the west side of the river.)
