Hello
Aquaholics,
We were blessed with a perfect day and great friends to share it with yet
again. I want to thank everybody for making my sister and my nephew a
part of the gang. Speaking of gangs we also had two new paddlers (rowers for
Sandy and Fred) from orlando and points east, we were 21 in all . I will refer
to them as Sweetie and Sweetie. Yes i am still bad with names but I do remember
their faces and so does Carol whos weapon was stolen from her after her boat
tipped over and was used on several people including myself. I tried to explain
that they probably should go easy on their first trip with the club but that
just seemed to excite them and sprayed even faster ( we have it on film ). It
was almost as if they were postal employees or somthing. While mearly observing
this water fight I learned that they now make a double barrel..... HMMMMM this
bears looking into. Carols weapon was eventually reclaimed by her........
speaking of carol, few knew she was on the olympic diving team ! ( y e a r s
ago ) Not so much on the swimming team just diving. She however was not the
only one that brought the wrong boat. Beverly And Mary Ann also had
difficulties keeping their boat under them. Joy has never paddled faster....
she screamed and paddled as if she was running from someone ??? She just
ignored the No Wake signs... Lucky needs to talk to her about the Maritime
rules. Sandy used up her 1 annual " I have an ear infection " so
stand by ! We missed the Purple boat people, they called this week and stated
they were shopping for new boats. Hope they find purple cause I would hate to
have a name change to deal with, theres no telling what could happen. So many
things could go wrong. The purple boats ( as well as their owners ) would have
made a nice addition to our Beverly Hillbillys ( no relation ) rig going down
the road to Beverlys Biker Bar. Bottem line ALL had a GREAT time once
again and Thank You for such an AWESOME club.
Mike
