Hello Aquaholics, Boy oh Boy did we have a day. It was GREAT !!! No butter on the grits or toast..... got it. We had a group of twenty and one canoe. The water was down so that made for a fast current on a narrow winding river and that made for an interesting day, Special thanks to Nathan and Scott for their help getting some of our members thru some of the obstacles. Always pays to surround yourself with the strong young men. We had a picture perfect day and had a lot of good people to share it with. We had a few new members and a few where there to join, now if we can get our membership chairlady to bring her membership stuff with her we might be able to sign up some new members :). Its kinda cool, the people that are wanting to join are the same people that sank their boats at the poker run.... and i thought jumping out of trees was fun. Guess i need to sink one, I might be missing something. We did have more than our fair share of rescues. I had 8 years in the coast guard and i performed more rescues Saturday than i did in 8 years. BUT the important part was even with a watermelon fight breaking out at lunch we all made it out safe and all had a good time. Thank You guys for another day of fun with my friends. Thank you to our new members that joined us. I do need to speak to someone about the truckload of RUM that I did not find out about till after they were gone. For the new members Beverly was not as bubbly as she usually is but she diddnt want to scare any of the new members. I am glad she went easy on Joy and did not grill her too hard. We love our LUCKY. Good to know I am still in the will. If she could just spell my name right. A good number of us enjoyed a meal at Lenas afterwords... still nobody brave enough to try the GLISH ?????? We missed the pepper chowder people but sure there was a good reason they werent there. THANK YOU GUYS for such an AWESOME club. Mike
