CR 315 IS Closed due to Construction from FT McCoy (CR 316) south to NE 105th St. There is a Barricade at Visitor Center @ SR 40 on CR 315 - Local traffic can go around it, to get to Gores Landing you are local traffic! See webpage 2010 Poker Run Maps/Info for more information.

        12th Annual Paddlers Poker Run
                                  Saturday, May 15th, 2010

                                      To Benefit the Ocala Outdoor Adventure Camp,
                                                     a Non-Profit Organization that benefits Florida Youth
 
           Cash Prizes, Gift Certificates, Paddling Accessories, Kids Prizes


What:    Open to all canoes, kayaks and paddle crafts, an 8-mile downstream paddle on the beautiful
              Ocklawaha River while playing a Poker hand of 7-Card Stud. At 7 designated stops,
2 stops at
              the beginning, 5 along the river
, each entrant will be dealt 1 playing card. Those that finish
              with the best Poker hands will win an assortment of prizes.

             *Rental canoes and kayaks are available at Ocklawaha Canoe Outpost, reservation required.

When:   Saturday, May 15
th , 2010. Sign up / on water 9am - 10:30 am

             Off the water by 4:30pm                  Awards begin at 5pm
Where:  Gores Landing to the Ocklawaha Canoe Outpost & Resort - Eureka, FL
How:     Arrive at Gores Landing to unload your paddle craft and gear. Drive your auto to the take-out 
             parking area at Ocklawaha Canoe Outpost and the club will shuttle the drivers back to Gores
             Landing. Due to limited space for vehicles, Boats will be shuttled from take out to the parking
             area by the club using trailers
(no exceptions to boat shuttle)

Cost:     $10 Early Bird Donation for Registrations received by May 11th - $15 Late Registration. Kids 11
             & under are Free. Play an extra hand for $5, may only be purchased day of Poker Run

             Registration includes: 1 Poker Hand, Shuttle, Parking fees and 1 Raffle Ticket for a new Malibu
             Stealth 12? Kayak with Paddle and Seat.

Gores Landing:  
SR 40 (4 miles east of Silver Springs) turn left on CR 315. Go about 6 miles to
           NE 105
th St., then turn right and follow signs to Gores Landing N 29 17' 23", W 81 55' 36"

Ocklawaha Canoe Outpost:  Stay on CR 315 to FT McCoy, turn right on CR 316, just before the
           bridge turn left at sign, 15260 NE 152
nd Place, Ft McCoy, FL 32134 N 29 22' 24", W 81 54' 16"
